We all love having someone plan a day or afternoon to spend with us, and this mothers day we’ve put together a few tips for planning a lovely afternoon tea with your mom or mother figure in your life. Sharing time with someone is one of the most precious gifts we can give, and connecting over an herbal cuppa of warm or iced tea seems to magically slow down the passage of time and keep us in the present moment with the people we love. Afternoon Tea Spring Sandwiches
Don’t forget the snacks! Nothing puts a cherry on top of tea time quite like little homemade tea sandwiches. These make for a light, crisp and springy addition to an afternoon tea session.
What You Need:
Sourdough bread
Hummus
Fresh dill
Cucumber
How to Make:
Slice the sourdough bread into small pieces, large enough to make sandwiches about 4 bites each. Spread one piece with hummus, then top with 1-2 slices cucumber and sprinkle with fresh dill. Top with another slice of sourdough and enjoy along with your tea!

Relax Lavender Lemonade
Made with a floral blend of chamomile, lavender & marshmallow root, this relaxing and refreshing mocktail is a delicious spring or summer treat. Made with Pukka's Relax organic tea and fresh lavender to create a beautifully fragrant mocktail to enjoy with friends and loved ones.
What you need:
Sprigs of fresh lavender
1/2 teaspoon of coconut sugar to sweeten to taste
1 cup of water
Juice of 1 lemon or 50ml of lemon juice
2 Pukka relax tea bags
Ice
How to Make:
Steep 2 tea bags of Pukka Relax tea with 100 ml of freshly boiled water and leave to cool in the fridge, overnight or for a few hours. Once cool, add fresh lavender, freshly squeezed lemon and coconut sugar to the glass. Stir with a spoon until the sugar has dissolved slightly. Pour over ice, top up with water and enjoy on a sunny day in the garden or park.
