
Spirulina Protein Smoothie

Rich in natural plant protein, spirulina is the perfect addition to any post workout smoothie. We’ve created a protein shake recipe that brings you all the benefits of spirulina powder and tastes amazing as well. What’s more, this recipe is packed with a whole list of incredible superfood ingredients too.
What you need:
1 cup fresh spinach
1/2 avocado
1/2 apple
1 heaped tablespoon Pukka Herbs' Essential Spirulina Powder
1 tablespoon organic virgin coconut oil
1 tablespoon chia seeds
1 tablespoon flax seeds
1 tablespoon cacao nibs
1 tablespoon maple syrup
1 cup almond milk
fresh blueberries for garnish (optional)
1 tablespoon desiccated coconut (optional)

What you do
Add all the ingredients to a high-speed blender (or food processor) and process until smooth.
Poor into two glasses and enjoy with your work out buddy.
Tip: Add a little less almond milk to turn this recipe into a smoothie bowl. You can even sprinkle with desiccated coconut and fresh blueberries if you’re looking to impress.
