Associate Procurement Manager
Reporting to:
European Packaging Manager
Main Objective:
Focusing on packaging for the gifting portfolio. This role will be responsible for running the Cost & Cash agenda for the portfolio and prepare and share data reviews/reports.
Liaison with:
Supply Chain, Research & Innovation, Finance, Marketing, Quality
2. Key Responsibilities
Helping to develop and implement the global procurement strategy and strategic action.
Working together with MET and R&D to implement saving opportunities and developing new materials for innovations.
Working together with Cluster Marketing teams to develop innovations and communicate the benefits to finance team.
Collaborating with SC to ensure supply security, OTIF and Quality requirements.
Running the Cost and Cash agenda for the portfolio.
Preparing and sharing data reviews and relevant reports
3. Person Specification
Knowledge & Experience:
Proven experience in Procurement or Supply Chain
Experience in Cross Functional working
Experience and understanding of business processes and SAP systems
Skills & Competences:
Strong Negotiation skills
Strong analytical capabilities
Personal Attributes:
Ability to interact with people from different cultures and backgrounds,
Strong communications skills and ability to engage and influence others;
Fluent communication and verbal skills in English. Spanish/Portuguese is a plus.
Strong ability in managing multiple stakeholders, projects and deadlines, with strong analytical & negotiation skills and “can do” mentality;
Appetite for change and eagerness to collaborating with stakeholders to drive through improvements.
