Find out more about who you are - take our dosha quiz

Introducing the doshas and our new interactive Quiz

Our new interative Dosha Quiz is your guide to find a perfectly balanced life. It helps you understand more about yourself, what’s good for you and what’s not. It's an amazing way to find out more about who you are & provides tips to help optimise your personal health & happiness. You can go straight to taking the quiz here.

A little background to the doshas

According to Ayurveda - the ancient Indian art of living a more healthy wholesome life - doshas are the energy patterns that flow around our bodies, governing our thinking and behaviour. There are three primary doshas – vata, pitta and kapha – and we are all born with all three of them.

But it’s the dominance of one or two of these doshas that defines who we are. Most of us are a combination with one dosha more dominant than the others. So our new interactive Dosha Quiz indicates what your unique dosha mix is. Each dosha has advantages and disadvantages, and understanding more about it helps you work out your body’s needs according to your dosha ‘DNA’, so you can make positive changes in your life to help your health flourish.

I’m ready to discover my unique dosha

You will probably find that you are a combination of each of the doshas, but it is likely that one will predominate. If you are higher in one particular dosha you can benefit by following the dietary, seasonal and lifestyle advice for that constitutional type and if you are a nearly equal blend of two or three dosha you can adjust your dosha balancing according to the seasons. You can find more details on understanding more about the doshas in 'A Pukka Life' or throughout this website.

Please note that questionnaires & quizzes of this type are just an indication of your dosha type. If you want to find out first hand then it's better to see a practitioner; in the UK try the Ayurvedic Practitioner Association at www.apa.uk.com.
