Meet Marin, Pukka's sourcing specialist
Our herb sourcing specialist and beekeeper
My Pukka job
It’s my job to manage the supply of organic herbs for Pukka’s teas and supplements. Because of this, I spend a lot of time visiting Pukka growers around the world, checking the quality and efficacy of the raw materials and making sure they comply with organic standards.
I also help Pukka growers improve their agricultural practices, where necessary, so that they can grow ingredients in a more sustainable way and supply the organic quality we look for in all our Pukka ingredients.
My biggest Pukka thrill
The best part about working at Pukka is when the herbs finally arrive in Bristol from wherever they’ve been grown in the world, knowing that I was there several months before, on the ground, helping Pukka growers with their cultivation and harvest.
My favourite Pukka blend
I like all our teas, but my favourite is Night Time.
When not at Pukka
I’m a keen beekeeper and have been since I was 18 years old. In total, I have 25 bee colonies of my own which I look after at my home in the Cotswolds. I am also a member of the British Beekeeping Association where I help the association promote beekeeping and train new beekeepers.
