But why should this quality be restricted to the time-honoured tradition of simply steeping tea in boiling water? Here are some ideas for non-alcoholic drinks that may lead you to see the humble Pukka tea bag in a completely different light.

What you do

  1. Three Ginger Throat Soother
  2. Add a Pukka Three Ginger tea bag to 200ml of freshly boiled water, and steep for 5 minutes.
  3. Stir in 1 tsp of honey and a squeeze of fresh lemon to see off the winter chill.
  4. Three Mint Lemon Twister
  5. Add a Pukka Three Mint tea bag to 200ml of freshly boiled water, and steep for 5 minutes.
  6. Stir in a squeeze of fresh lemon to create a famous blend that is drunk throughout Turkey.
  7. Pure Pukka Pleasure
  8. Measure out a mug of almond milk, and warm in a pan. While warming, add one Pukka Licorice and Cinnamon tea bag.
  9. Leave to warm and infuse for 5 minutes, to create a rich and soothing delight to enjoy as a treat.
  10. Pukka Hot Chai
  11. Measure out a mug of water, and bring to the boil in a pan.
  12. Add two Pukka Original Chai tea bags, and boil for 3 minutes.
  13. After three minutes, measure out the same quantity of organic milk or almond milk as the water, and add the milk to the pan.
  14. Bring to the boil, remove from the heat and add honey to taste before serving this spicy Indian classic that will keep your energy levels up.
  15. Pukka Mocktail – Pukka Iced Tea
  16. Cover 3 Pukka herbal tea bags with 750ml of boiling water (Refresh, Three Mint, Three Ginger, Lemongrass and Ginger or Detox will be the best).
  17. Leave to infuse for 30 minutes in a covered container.
  18. Strain, and add honey to flavour, along with lemon or lime slices if desired. Chill in the fridge, and serve chilled, either with or without ice.
