Pukka Achieves Carbon Neutrality
1st February 2015
In our efforts to create a healthier and happier world, Pukka has officially become carbon neutral.
This means that we have measured our carbon footprint from the emissions we can control, and taken actions to reduce them. The remaining emissions we have reduced to zero by investing in a cookstove project in Ugandan communities: the project reduces greenhouse emissions by distributing fuel-efficient stoves. As well as reducing carbon, conserving forests and improving health, the stoves also mean lower fuel costs.
Carbon neutrality is hugely important for people, plants and planet. We are delighted with the efforts everybody here at Pukka Herbs have made to help us to become a carbon neutral company.
