Pukka Country Lead UK and Ireland - ekaterra

The Pukka Country Lead UK & Ireland is a full-time role with a salary of £58k-£65kper annum depending on experience, alongside a benefits package designed to nurture your wellbeing and personal development. This role reports to the ekaterra UKI Head of Marketing and is based in the ekaterra London Waterloo office, as well as working from the Pukka Herb House in Keynsham (Bristol)and requires twice weekly presence. Some travel required to external meetings and occasional international travel to Ireland or ekaterra head office (NL).

About the role

This exciting role will be responsible for growing the Pukka brand, a key part of the ekaterra UKI business. You'll take the lead on two of the most mature Pukka markets around the world, including Pukka's home market, the UK. These markets are of key strategic focus and full of potential.

In this role, you'll be the beating heart of Pukka within the ekaterra UK&I team - a beacon of the Pukka brand and culture within the local ekaterra business. You'll also partner with the Pukka global team to deliver key strategic projects, which UK often leads on.

This is a very collaborative role working with numerous stakeholders. Building excellent working relations within the local ekaterra team, Pukka global and selected agency partners. Also, you'll work with global and local experts in market research, media, and digital to understand our target consumers better and build and execute the annual marketing calendar. You'll be able to spot opportunities, pitch ideas, and rally a team.

As the lead, you will guide, inspire and develop one direct report. Also, you'll lead the annual business planning process for Pukka. You will be in charge of allocating and closely managing the budget across key marketing channels and media choices. You will define the three-year innovation pipeline for UK&I and lead on its effective deployment with best-in-class launches and activations to develop the category, driving penetration and market share. You'll be someone who seizes opportunities to benefit the wider business and will be passionate about contributing to a purpose-led mission; everything you do will be to inspire people to lead healthier, happier lives through the power of organic plants.

You'll bring demonstrable commercial leadership experience gained from an FMCG Sales or Marketing role and be experienced in strategy creation, consultation and execution of brand marketing projects and have strong experience in managing agencies. You'll provide clarity and direction for key stakeholders in our fast-paced working environment and be confident, assertive and able to guide teams with your knowledge.

You will be a strategic thinker and commercial expert who can translate data into purposeful marketing plans through strong collaboration, communication, and quick learning.

You'll have the ability to understand the big picture but also be comfortable with details and managing operations. You will need to be someone that recognises that growth and success is key to driving purposeful impact on the world at scale.
