Turmeric & Ginger Tonic

  • 4 persons

Relish in the rejuvenating taste of Pukka’s Turmeric Active, is bursting with turmeric, ginger, and galangal. Enjoyed either chilled in the summer or warm in the winter, this tonic can keep you feeling sprightly throughout the day and help you achieve your active goals.

Ingredients:

  • Four Pukka Organic Turmeric Active teabags

  • One litre freshly boiled water

  • Juice of one lemon

  • 3cm piece of grated ginger

  • One tbsp honey or maple syrup (to taste)

  • Sprinkle of cayenne pepper

Method:

  1. Place four Pukka Turmeric Active teabags in a container with a lid and pour over one litre of boiling water.

  2. Let the mixture steep for 15 minutes, allow to cool and then remove the teabags.

  3. Add the juice of one lemon, some grated ginger and one tbsp of honey or maple syrup, and stir.

  4. Pour into tall glasses and serve with plenty of ice and a sprinkling of cayenne pepper for an added kick.
