Good news for a royal cup of tea.

Made with organic cardamom, licorice, ginger and cinnamon.

Delicious with or without milk and honey.

Ethically sourced, organically grown ingredients.

Take the journey of a thousand Rajahs. Chai - be in awe, for this exotic blend once danced on the lips of Indian royalty. Today, it thrills beyond palaces. Ours is a fairly traded bounty of gingery warmth, cinnamon glow, cardamom zing, and a black tea lift dappled with licorice. It’s magical India, in a cup.

Every Pukka plastic-free tea bag comes in its own recyclable envelope to retain the essential oils in our organic herbs. Each bag has two chambers, allowing these incredible herbs to flow and release the full potency in your cup. To help the flavours to fully disperse, pour boiling water directly on the bag. Every herb loves the water, so leave them to steep for the perfect brew. And remember to boil just the amount of water you need to make your cuppa as environmentally-friendly as it can be.

100% organic ingredients: Fairtrade cinnamon bark (40%), Fairtrade black tea (20%), ginger root (20%), cardamom seed (10%), licorice root.

Frequently asked questions

There are two main ways to keep a teabag fresh: wrap the individual bags or wrap the entire box. This is essential if you want to protect the high quality therapeutic organic herbs and essential oils. At Pukka we prefer to wrap each bag in an envelope so that once the box (ours is made with FSC certified cardboard and printed with vegetable-based inks) is open the other teabags remain fresh.

Tea companies have recently come under scrutiny for the use of polypropylene, a plastic used to heat-seal the edges of teabags. Pukka doesn’t use this kind of material. Instead, we use a simple stitch of organic cotton and a unique folding process. This means we don’t need to use polypropylene to hold our teabags together. We were the first company to ever use organic strings to hold our teabags together without the need of a metal staple or polypropylene.
