Supply Chain Director

Are you a strategic leader with a wealth of end to end Supply Chain experience, looking for your next challenge? Are you passionate about working for a purpose-led business where you can lead the Global Operation within a fast-growing and changing commercial landscape?

Based in our unique Bristol head office, the Supply Chain Director is a permanent full-time role, with a competitive salary alongside a benefits package designed to nurture your wellbeing and personal development.

About the opportunity

This exciting opportunity calls for an outstanding candidate to own the performance strategy for Pukka’s supply chain and be directly accountable for ensuring the brand strategy and operational execution are fully aligned.  The wide reach of this role demands a highly experienced, collaborative, and strategic leader who will be a passionate category advocate and strong influence to all partners of the supply chain.

You’ll have responsibility for leading our end to end operations including Procurement, Planning, Quality, Distribution, Customer Service and Consumer Care, in collaboration with manufacturing locations, to define the short and long-term operational plans for Pukka. Drawing on a deep commercial understanding of the category, you’ll lead and develop a complex supply chain in a business with a Turnover of €75M with exponential growth expectations.

A critical role within our Pukka Leadership Team, you’ll join a group of passionate mission led leaders who take full ownership and accountability for driving Pukka’s mission, culture, people development, short term & long term strategy, performance and P&L delivery. Leading a substantial and experienced team you’ll also work collaboratively with a wide range of Pukka people, Unilever colleagues, and external stakeholders and focus on strengthening and developing our supply chain in line with commercial performance targets and the mission of the business.

About you

With proven end to end supply chain experience and having worked across various plan-source-make-deliver areas, your track record of success across a range of functions within the FMCG sector will be significant. This will be matched by an ability to successfully work cross-functionally, deliver against ambitious operating revenue plans, and develop and implement long term strategy. Whilst not essential, experience with planning, manufacturing and contract manufacturing would be advantageous.

An excellent communicator, you will inspire others with your passion and enthusiasm to deliver a strategic, innovative, and operationally sound end to end supply chain. You’ll also be an experienced leader, with the ability to motivate and develop a large high-performing team to achieve and deliver ‘excellence’. These qualities will be matched by outstanding commercial acumen and your ability to successfully create and present ideas, strategies, and frameworks to a diverse range of stakeholders.

With an entrepreneurial and global mindset for growth and new ways of working, you’ll have an agile approach to your work and be able to transition at pace within a growing and changing commercial landscape. If you are to be at the helm of our Global supply chain, you’ll thrive at pace, be resilient dealing with ambiguity, and turn challenge and obstacles into decisive and purposeful action. You’ll be someone who seizes opportunities to benefit the wider business and be passionate about contributing to a purpose-led mission – everything you do is designed to inspire people to connect to the beauty and power of nature.
