Sales Support and Ecommerce Account Executive

Based in our inspiring Bristol head office, the Sales Support and Ecommerce Account Executive is a 9-month fixed term contract to cover a secondment. This is a full-time role and comes with a salary and a bonus with an OTE of up to £28,000 per annum (pro rata), alongside a benefits package designed to nurture your wellbeing and personal development.
About the opportunity
Working as part of the UK Natural Channel sales team you’ll provide proactive sales support, insight and coordination to the remote based Sales and Training Team. You’ll keep the central promotions plan up to date, and work with the shopper marketing team ensuring correct marketing strategy and brand guidelines are adhered to for all campaigns and activity. You’ll brief and project manage sales sheets and presenters, and deliver inspiring trade comms to the team and retailers, as well as producing gap analysis and sales reports to share with the remote team. A lynchpin connecting the remote team with the rest of the Herb House team, you’ll pro-actively drive a continuous improvement approach ensuring they are kept up to date with any changes.
As Sales Support and Ecommerce Account Executive you’ll also be responsible for driving sales to achieve targets for your own sales area, covering ecommerce customers and key accounts with ecommerce platforms. You’ll take a planned and proactive approach to developing relationships with customers via email and phone, as well as developing new ecommerce relationships. You’ll manage and ensure the smooth delivery of order processing, updating pricing, and managing invoicing and purchase orders for all remote team activity.
To be our Sales Support and Ecommerce Account Executive you’ll have some experience within an office based role working in a telesales position, driving sales on a retail e-com sales site, or a marketing role. You’ll be able to demonstrate your ability to deliver high levels of customer support, relationship development and driving sales. You’ll have a pro-active approach and enjoy thoroughly planning and organising tasks across project planning, team admin support and account management and do this to a high standard with limited information and input. Qualified to degree level or equivalent, you’ll be able to demonstrate an understanding of basic business concepts.
A passion for number crunching, you’ll have experience of downloading and exporting large amounts of data and manipulating it within Excel to pick out key insights. You’ll have intermediate Excel capability and good levels of numeracy to calculate gross and net pricing and discounts. With a fabulous attention to detail across numbers and words, you’ll have clear and accurate communication skills, be able to influence and enjoy writing and proofing documents.
