Closing Date: 27th June 2021
Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours a week)
Salary: up to £40k per annum
Are you an experienced planning manager looking to lead on the supply planning strategy for the fastest growing category in our business? Do you aspire to work for a purposeful, sustainable, and growing ethical brand?
Based in our award-winning Bristol head office, the Supply Planning Manager is a permanent full-time role, with a salary of up to £40k per annum depending on experience, alongside a benefits package designed to nurture your wellbeing and personal development.
About the opportunity
This exciting new role has been created to ensure that we work to unlock the most efficient production model for our fastest growing category Pukkaware (Pukka Gifting). You’ll work hard to delight our customers by delivering great service levels, and optimise quality, service, cost, stock, and responsiveness.
Pukkaware is at the heart of our business and our fastest growing category. Our beautiful gift collections allow us to drive market penetration and enable our consumers to trial a variety of teas, whilst sharing Pukka’s purpose, and inspiring people around the globe to nurture healthy and happier lives through powerful organic plants. Ranging from tea selection boxes to advent calendars, you’ll play a central role in leading the global supply planning strategy for the category.
Building strong, collaborative relationships with suppliers and stakeholders to drive mutual benefit across the Pukkaware supply chain is essential in this role. You’ll proactively work with our Unilever, Operations, Marketing and Sales teams to ensure together we execute the ambitious sales plan, and all supply chain risks are managed. You’ll also line manager a talented Supply Chain Analyst, ensuring that as a team you develop a cohesive approach to all stakeholders.
You’ll have substantial experience gained within a planning or production role, with experience in managing end to end supply chain. With proven supply chain knowledge of systems and processes from supplier to consumer, and great commercial acumen, you’ll also have experience of delivering change agendas.
An excellent communicator, you’ll be able to influence and negotiate persuasively with peers and senior levels internally and externally, and be able to set your own agenda as well as having the ability to get buy in from key stakeholders. Highly numerate and financially astute, you’ll have an awareness of the commercial drive for performance across the sectors we operate in. You’ll also be able to step agilely between regular tasks and project work, working quickly and accurately always with an eye on suggesting improvements to processes and systems.
If you are to take the lead on our Pukkaware supply planning strategy you’ll thrive at pace, be resilient and turn challenge and obstacles into decisive and purposeful action. You’ll be someone who seizes opportunities to benefit the wider business and communications goals and be passionate about contributing to a purpose-led mission – everything you do is designed to inspire people to nurture healthier, happier lives through powerful organic plants.
