Do you have experience working on Product Quality or Finished Goods specifications, and are looking to develop this further within a purposeful, sustainable, and growing ethical brand?

Based at our North Bristol Warehouse (at Aztec West) we are looking for a Specification Technician to join our Operations team. The role is a 7-month fixed term contract, full-time, with a salary of £22,000 per annum (pro rata). This sits alongside a benefits package designed to nurture your wellbeing and personal development.

About the opportunity

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Specification Technician to join our Quality team and provide the last line of checks on our wider Finished Goods Portfolio from our North Bristol Warehouse.

Working within the Product Quality Team you will be responsible for the day to day Inbound Finish Goods inspection, input of results and escalation of any issues. Working closely with the Warehouse and Planning Teams to ensure stock is received in a timely manner and our orders are fulfilled. You'll also support our Finished Goods checks by completing our surveillance requirements, and collate samples, lab request submissions and obtain results.

You will also be responsible for our specification maintenance, tracking our product Change Management and publishing our new specifications on SharePoint. As part of the Product Quality Team you’ll play a key role within our issues resolution and Incident Management activities.

Within the wider Quality team, you’ll also have a pivotal role in Pukka’s innovation delivery. You'll be responsible for the coordination of trial stock and prompt despatch of samples and ensure timely test reports are received and maintain trial stock records.

About you

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to develop their product quality skills and experience. With proven experience proof reading, ideally Food Packaging artwork, you’ll also have worked on different Business Systems (such as SAP). Although not essential, experience within the FMCG food environment would be beneficial to the role, as would having previously worked with Product Quality Specifications and/or Finished Goods Specifications.

With excellent attention to detail you’ll be capable of working on tasks quickly and accurately. A large percentage of the role will involve reading and cross-referencing artwork and specification documentation for alignment, so good written English is essential. With intermediate excel skills you’ll also be confident at handling data, and data inputting.
