Executive Assistant to the CEO, Leadership Team and Co-Founders

The Executive Assistant is a permanent full-time position with a competitive salary of up to £36,000 per annum, alongside a benefits package designed to nurture your wellbeing and personal development.

About the opportunity

As our Executive Assistant you’ll provide pro-active and comprehensive EA assistance to our CEO, Leadership Team and Co-Founders. Working in a fast-paced, purposeful and demanding environment you’ll deliver a high level of proactive service to support the day- to-day activities of our senior leaders, ensuring our team can be the most impactful in the delivery of our purpose and mission.

Day-to-day you’ll provide extensive and complex diary management including scheduling meetings, managing conflicting appointments, understanding priorities, and collating agendas. You’ll manage emails, re-direct and respond to emails where appropriate, and act as a central point of contact liaising with the Pukka team and co-ordinating queries from departments and external contacts. Managing all administration for the team you’ll process invoices, expenses, Leadership team holiday requests, and absences using internal systems.

You’ll regularly prepare, edit, and sense-check PowerPoint presentations, Excel spreadsheets, reports and other pre-read meeting materials. In amongst daily activities you’ll arrange complex UK and international travel, including visas and ensure every step of the journey is considered within itineraries. You’ll source suitable venues and catering for offsite meetings, and organise key company events and celebrations playing a key role in the preparation and delivery on the day.

Most importantly you’ll act like a “second brain” to the team by thinking proactively, keeping track of deadlines, and identify pro-active opportunities for support which add value to Pukka.

About you

To be our Executive Assistant you’ll have proven EA experience and a track record of delivery at a senior leadership level, preferably gained within a high-pace commercial environment. You’ll have supported senior leaders in previous EA or PA roles and have an ability to adapt to work with leaders with different working styles. You’re able to demonstrate a high level of commerciality, integrity, discretion and confidentiality from your previous commercial EA experience, as well as being very discerning, with the confidence to make suggestions and influence change.

Highly organised, and meticulous with detail, you’re a self-starter able to work autonomously for a lot of the time, and can demonstrate a confidence to prioritise and plan effectively to manage a diverse and heavy workload. You’ll thrive in environments that are fast-paced, diverse and are evolving. Calm and unflappable under pressure, you’ll demonstrate an ability to think proactively to anticipate needs and plan accordingly. Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook), you’ll have an ability to assimilate new knowledge and systems quickly.
