Rich in essential fatty acids and nutrients that boost both skin and eye health, this re-mineralising smoothie is a fantastic, flavoursome fix for a great vitamin boost.

Spinach – Well known for its nutritional qualities, has always been regarded as a plant with remarkable ‘Popeye’ abilities for helping to restore energy, increase vitality and improve the quality of the blood. Avocado – Rich in Omega-3 fatty acids and Vitamin E, which help maintain a healthy, glowing complexion.

What you need:

  • 250ml Feel New tea

  • 80g spinach, kale or broccoli (you may like to lightly steam the kale or broccoli first, to soften)

  • 80g cucumber

  • 40g celery or apple (apple will add more sweetness)

  • ½ an avocado

  • A selection of green herbs e.g. mint, parsley, coriander, fennel fronds, dandelion leaves

  • 1cm fresh ginger, grated

  • A squeeze of lemon or lime juice

What you do

  1. Brew your cup of Feel New tea in hot water and leave to cool completely.

  2. Put the cooled tea and all other ingredients in the blender and blend until smooth. Add more water if needed to reach the desired consistency.

  3. Pour into a glass and enjoy.
