About Vicky Murray
Vicky has been Sustainability Manager at Pukka Herbs for two years, where she is on the constant lookout for opportunities to do things in ways that have maximum benefits to people, plants and planet.
Vicky leads the development of Pukka’s Regenerative Health sustainability strategy and its delivery across the business, including the development of our science-based carbon reduction targets. Pukka is also a certified B Corp – a growing global movement of companies demonstrating business as a force for good. Vicky manages Pukka’s B Corp Business Impact Assessment certification process and has jumped with both feet into the B Corp movement. She has been instrumental in driving positive change across Pukka, working collaboratively with colleagues across Pukka teams, suppliers and partners.
Prior to joining Pukka, Vicky was Head of Sustainability at Neal’s Yard Remedies (NYR) for three years. Just like Pukka, NYR pioneers standards for sustainability including Fair for Life and FairWild, as well as organic herbal supply chains.
Before moving to an in-house sustainability role, Vicky was with sustainable development charity Forum for the Future. She spent nine years as a strategic sustainability advisor helping to develop sustainable business strategies with Forum’s business partners and managing global multi-stakeholder projects to drive positive change in the food, tourism and fashion sectors. There she developed expertise in future scenario building, visioning and people-centred research.
Vicky now spends most of her time with one eye on the future, believing that when you bring tomorrow’s challenges into focus you begin to demand a lot more from today. Vicky lives to spend time in beautiful nature (particularly blustery walks with her family on the Northumberland coast). And she works passionately to protect it.
