Is Pukka Coconut Oil made from coconut flesh or coconut milk?

Coconut milk is produced from grating and pressing coconut flesh, and our coconut oil is made from fresh coconut flesh, which is grated and pressed to extract the coconut milk. Alternatively, you could say that the oil is made from fresh coconut milk. In both cases it is the same traditional method that involves fresh coconuts, milk expression and subsequent fermentation of the milk to separate the fat. The coconut water found in the centre of the nut has almost no oil content and should not be confused with the coconut milk expressed from the flesh.
