Social and Content Manager

Based in our inspiring Bristol head office, the Social and Content Manager is a permanent full-time role with a competitive salary of up to £40k per annum depending on experience, alongside a benefits package designed to nurture your wellbeing and personal development.
About the opportunity
This new and exciting opportunity calls for an outstanding candidate to drive Pukka’s global content, channel and outreach strategy with specific responsibility for execution in UK markets. They will work to ensure all assets for the UK are on strategy, beautifully produced, on brand and adaptable across multiple channels and where possible can translate/be used in other Pukka territories.
Providing direction and leadership to our content/social agency and content contractors, this role will need to build excellent and productive working relationships to get the daily graphic, video and written content delivered, as well as the social and Collective element of our campaigns completed. It will also manage ‘paid for’ budgets, ensuring we are maximising cost per reach and targeting the right audiences.
The Social & Content Manager sits within a wider team that is working hard to ensure all Pukka’s communication channels and platforms champion our mission to connect people, plants and planet, and realise our ambition to be the leader of the herbal health and wellbeing revolution. We’re looking for someone with an extensive proven track record of managing all social channel formats and performance, preferably via an outsourced model. Importantly, you’ll demonstrate a strong creative and aesthetic judgement and you’ll be experienced at managing creative/asset briefs.
The role requires a flexible individual, who’s experienced and comfortable with thinking and planning strategically one minute, putting on their creative and writing hat the next and then seamlessly dealing with immediate and urgent online conversations. A lover of all things digital, you will be enthusiastic and positive, with a curious and naturally inquisitive approach to your work.
