About the opportunity

We’re excited to be looking for a skilled Product Quality Manager who can lead and develop a team of experts to continue to deliver quality excellence across all Pukka’s products.

Whilst being responsible for ensuring our specifications and standards in product quality are met, this role will importantly orchestrate change with internal teams, stakeholders and packing partners. Looking across Pukka’s existing product range the role will continually seek development opportunities in cost, manufacturability, quality and performance within our existing product range.

Keeping up to date with latest industry trends, consumer requirements and technologies is essential for this role so that Pukka can understand what is most important and harness that insight to the best effect. The role will also coordinate Pukka’s program of product and packaging trials to deliver our ambitious NPD plans, requiring them to be a frequent presence at our packing and processing partner suppliers.

About you

We’re looking for someone with knowledge of complex supply chains, with substantial experience of food manufacturing. With a degree level qualification in food engineering, science or technology, you’ll have a genuine interest in science and how it is applied to food technology - you will be our ‘go to’ technical expert and we like our people to be passionate about their subject.

You’ll have solid project management skills with a proven track record in delivering and coordinating complex technical projects. With an inquisitive and creative mind, you’ll be able to analyse information and identify product and process solutions. Working with multiple stakeholders both internally and externally, strong communication skills are essential.
