About the opportunity
Our Portfolio teams (Beverages, Health & Wellbeing and New Category) have one of the most exciting jobs in Pukka – they’re our global brand champions - and this role plays its part through delivering beverages innovation in the UK and internationally. This exciting new opportunity calls for a motivated and commercially aware Assistant Brand Manager to join us and support the Beverages portfolio team to deliver exciting and ground breaking innovations globally.
On a daily basis, the role drives a range of its own innovation projects whilst supporting the Beverages Team with larger NPD/EPD activity. When project leading, this role takes specific responsibility for all areas of project management including market and consumer research, concept development, creating product and packaging briefs, supporting on design and copy development as well as completing packaging artwork briefs. With responsibility for maintaining key gate stages for activation, this role also takes the lead on managing market, consumer & competitor analysis to ensure Pukka can remain the leaders of the herbal health revolution. When playing a support role, there will be responsibility for certain aspects under direction of the Beverages Lead and SBMs.
This is a professional marketing role so we’re looking for candidates with a degree (or equivalent) in marketing or business. It’s essential this comes with proven experience working in marketing alongside a background and interest in developing and managing successful innovation in FMCG This will be matched by strong consumer understanding, and some experience in portfolio and activation management, which includes significant project management capability.
An excellent and engaging communicator, you’ll also be a strong team player who enjoys working collaboratively with internal and external partners. Flexible in your approach to your work, you’ll be adept at stepping agilely between planning and delivery – not to mention having a strong eye for the detail.
