The recipe below will incorporate our Turmeric Active Tea and basic basmati rice. What you need:

  • 1 cup boiling water

  • 1 Turmeric Active tea bag

  • 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric powder

  • 1/2 cup of white basmati rice

What you do

  1. Bring 1 cup of water to a simmer.

  2. Add 1 tea bag Turmeric Active tea, ½ teaspoon turmeric powder, and ½ cup white basmati rice.

  3. Stir and cover with a tight fitting lid.

  4. Let simmer together for 10 minutes.

  5. After 10 minutes, or when all the water is absorbed, give it a stir and enjoy with a side of sprouts, or roasted vegetables for a light, refreshing and nourishing summer meal.
