We're all susceptible to feeling run-down which can be brought on for a number of reasons, for example stress, anxiety, a hectic lifestyle, not eating the right foods or maybe just a change in weather when it gets wet, damp and cold. It's important to manage these factors in order to avoid feeling under the weather.
Seasonal imbalances are the result of how 'tolerant' we are to a certain substance. In Ayurveda, this function of tolerance is the responsibility of digestion. If our digestion is impaired, we cannot metabolise and 'digest' what we are putting into ourselves which can create a toxic overload and hence an imbalance. It is therefore important to strengthen your digestion to ensure you stay at optimum health.
