Walk the Walk

Living a healthy balanced lifestyle is at the heart of the principles of Pukka Herbs and Walk the Walk. We share the same passion for healthy living and have the same commitment to organic and environmental issues. That's why Pukka is proud to be involved and sponsor the charity again this year.
Pukka's principles are guided by Ayurveda, an ancient Indian philosophy on health and wellbeing. It means the ‘the art of living wisely’ and focuses on taking responsibility for your own health. This is one of the key messages of Walk the Walk and it’s why we are committed to working together to help to spread the word about living life to the full and helping yourself to stay healthy and happy!
This year Walk the Walk will be leading Power Walking challenges for women and men all around the world - from London to New York, from Iceland to the Inca Trail in Peru, from Edinburgh to Holland and even in our home town of Bristol! Pukka have a great range of organic herbal teas and remedies to help you prepare for your challenges so that you can get the most out of your training and really feel the benefits. We recommend:
Turmeric & Boswellia – to help prevent sore muscles from training and exercise.
Ashwagandha – to give you sustained energy and endurance.
Shatavari – a tonifying herb to nourish women’s health
Chywanaprash – a delicious Indian herbal jam for that extra burst of energy.
Mahanaryan oil – a soothing massage oil to help relieve pain from stiff muscles or joints.
Ashwagandha oil – a strengthening massage oil to nourish the muscles
Revitalise tea – An energising blend of cinnamon, cardamom & ginger to get you going
Refresh tea – A deliciously sweet blend of peppermint, licorice & rose to keep you cool
Harmonise tea – A balancing blend of rose, vanilla & shatavari to strengthen women’s health
Ayurveda recommends that we breathe through our nose whilst we are exercising. It has a wonderful effect on our nervous system. It can be a bit odd at first, but try and exercise at a pace that allows you to do this. This way you can build up your fitness capacity that suits your body's needs.
