We have created this new post to take overall management of grocery category in the UK, optimising sales and increasing brand recognition. Initially the focus will be on our Herbal Tea lines, planning and management of the product sector marketing, sales account management and new business development.
The ideal candidate will be a graduate with a traditional grounding of sales & marketing/brand development in the ‘multiples’ environment, working with tools to assess brand positioning, research, competitor analysis and new product direction. They will be an excellent communicator, with sufficient gravitas to operate at the highest level. Strong commercial acumen, focused on strategic positioning, assessment of customer potential and the development of new markets

An unique opportunity for an Agronomist/Horticulturist to apply their field knowledge and project management skills to a strategic commercial role, encompassing the maintenance and security of new and existing herb sources and support of new herb growing projects to achieve continuity of supply and maintenance of quality and ethical parameters. Working with the Herbal Director, Supply Chain Manager and our international growing partners this position will combine field project management work with research to develop a comprehensive ‘live’ database of sourcing and market information.
Candidates must have a working knowledge of agronomy or horticulture to advise and support our growing partners preferably within an international and organic/fair trade setting. In addition a knowledge of quality systems ( GMP, GACP and organic certification) and some commercial experience of working alongside supply chain.
